We enjoyed a one week stay with the most beautiful ocean view from our room. Casapueblo is a one-of-a-kind building that some may consider to be art itself, and it was fun and interesting to learn about the designer/builder/artist who constructed it. Having a rental car is very important if you are planning to stay at Casapueblo due to its rather inaccessible location. The staff managed to arrange for a car for us after we were told by the rental agencies at the airport that there were no rentals left during the high season. The staff was generally very helpful and pleasant whenever we asked for assistance in getting extra towels, making restaurant reservations, booking biking tours, etc.
The very old locks and handles on most of the doors in our 2 bedroom suite were difficult to use. In one bathroom the handle fell off every day. The staff tried to fix it, and it needed to simply be replaced, but Casapueblo obviously hasn't been investing in updating their facilities. The handle never got fixed. The windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The suite smelled like a wet dog from the moment we entered it. Our suite, and entire facility, needs a good scrubbing. The handicap access ramp functions more like a ramp at a skateboard park.

A unique and memorable Christmas experience with stunning sunset views. Received two great complimentary gifts. The hotel's location is beautiful and offers plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring. The private balconies are perfect for enjoying the scenery.
The hotel is quite isolated with no access to shops or restaurants, so having a car is a must. The prices for food and activities on-site are quite high.

I recently stayed at a breathtaking hotel with a stunning view from the balcony. The sunsets and New Year's fireworks over the Rio Plata were absolutely jaw-dropping. The location itself was like stepping into ancient Greece, with Carlos Páez Vilaró´s sculpture adding a touch of artistic elegance. The room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom and excellent service. The breakfast had a simple but tasty selection. The facilities, including the indoor pool and small gym, were well-maintained. I gave this hotel 4 stars for its incredible location and comfortable rooms.
The limited menu options at the restaurant/bar were a downside, but there were plenty of dining options in town.
